Bridge local Claude Code and Codex sessions only when the current host's native communication tools do not cover the target. Use for cross-product messages, hooks/scripts posting to sessions, fallback reply lookup and delivery verification, or diagnosing Held peer messages. Also use its coordination guidance when shared-work ownership or an inbound peer assertion needs verification. For ordinary parent/subagent, teammate, or independent-session communication, first discover and use available native tools; do not load this skill merely to send a native message. The bundled network preview for cross-machine pairing is deprecated (existing deployments only; invitations use the peer-message:v1 format). Never bypass a denied or Held message with another transport. Not for spawning agents, moving full history, or granting user approval.
