Claude Code Marketplaces ("we", "our", or "the site") is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit claudemarketplaces.com.

Key Point: You can browse the directory without an account. If you sign in with GitHub, save a listing, or subscribe to the newsletter, we process only the account, saved-listing, and subscription data needed to provide those features.

Depending on the features you use, we may store:

• GitHub account ID, username, name, email, and avatar
• Listings you save and the time they were saved
• Newsletter email, consent status, and confirmation records
• Account creation, update, and onboarding timestamps

We do not receive your GitHub password, use device fingerprinting, or use cookies for advertising tracking.

This information is already publicly available on GitHub and is accessed through GitHub's official API for the sole purpose of cataloging Claude Code plugin marketplaces. We do not access private repositories or any non-public data.

We also process public MCP server metadata and usage signals from supported sources including the official MCP Registry and Smithery to maintain and rank the catalog.

We use Vercel Analytics to understand basic usage patterns and improve the site. Vercel Analytics is privacy-focused and does not use cookies or collect personally identifiable information.

Vercel Analytics collects:

• Page views and basic navigation patterns
• Referrer information (where visitors came from)
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Geographic region (country-level only)

Our automated system uses the GitHub API to search for and retrieve information about public repositories containing Claude Code marketplace files. This happens on our servers and does not use a visitor's GitHub credentials. Separately, choosing "Continue with GitHub" uses GitHub OAuth to create your account and receive the profile fields listed above.

The GitHub API usage is subject to GitHub's Privacy Statement.

This site contains links to external websites, including:

• GitHub repositories for each marketplace
• Official Anthropic and Claude documentation
• Plugin marketplace repositories

We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these external sites. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before interacting with them.

Account profiles and saved listings are retained while your account remains active. Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe, subject to records needed to honor that choice. You can request account-data deletion by contacting us below. Public catalog data is refreshed periodically through catalog discovery processes.

Our site is hosted on Vercel with industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption for all connections.

This service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Anyone under 13 should not create an account or subscribe to the newsletter.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
