The harness for a substantial task that does not fit one context window: execution always in the main context, split into sessions that are cut by /clear or chained in the same window. task-planning turns an approved plan into a dedicated worktree plus a session-by-blocks decomposition sized by friction; the binnacle — an immutable changelog with a line-count read cursor — is the durable state a cold session resumes from with one bounded Read; log-binnacle writes each session's closing entry and makes the cut-or-chain call from the context budget verdict a bundled mod injects, and /resume-from-binnacle is the user's shortcut to reopen a run cold. Code review is manual, run by the user in a clean session once the binnacle marks the run ready-for-review.
