This server gives Claude direct control over Belkin WeMo smart plugs and switches on your local network, no cloud required. It exposes device discovery via SSDP scanning, toggle operations for switches, brightness adjustment for dimmers, and even retrieves HomeKit setup codes from device metadata. It's the AI integration piece of the larger Wemo Ops Center project, which also offers a desktop GUI and always-on server for managing devices that were orphaned when Belkin's cloud shut down. Useful if you have WeMo hardware sitting around and want to control it through natural language or automate it via Claude without standing up Home Assistant or writing your own UPnP client.
