This is Brave Search wrapped in a CLI that's actually designed for AI agents. The default command gives you pre-extracted, token-budgeted web content instead of raw HTML, which matters when you're trying to stay under context limits. It supports traditional search, streaming AI answers with research mode, news with freshness filters, and something called Goggles that lets you boost or suppress specific domains in results. That last feature is legitimately useful if you want to filter out SEO spam or prioritize official docs. You'll need a Brave Search API key. The skill doc is thorough about when to use which subcommand and includes actual response shapes, which saves you from guessing at the JSON structure.
