The main gotcha is you must pass the sport parameter to search_markets or you'll get zero results for single-game markets. Use this when someone asks "who's favored to win" or wants market sentiment, not for actual scores or match stats. Works well for comparing implied probabilities across different sportsbooks since Polymarket's crypto-native structure often shows different prices than traditional books.
