This is structural feedback for legal memos, briefs, and papers, not a rewriting service. It reads your full draft, identifies the document type, then gives you organized critique on structure, analysis depth, and clarity without ever touching your prose. The core rule is hard: no rewrites, at most one or two labeled example phrasings per session to show a structural move, never substantive content. It tracks your patterns across sessions and flags anything it's unsure about with VERIFY tags. If you ask it to rewrite a paragraph, it refuses and offers more targeted feedback instead. The pedagogy is deliberate: you get better at legal writing by doing it, not by watching Claude do it for you.
