Terraform Data Engineering Iac

This is a solid starter template for provisioning AWS data infrastructure with Terraform. It covers the essentials: S3 buckets with versioning and lifecycle policies for your data lake, EC2 instances for processing workloads, and IAM roles to tie it together. The examples are practical, showing you how to set up remote state, manage multiple environments, and give your EC2 instances the right permissions to access S3. It's not a production-ready framework, but it's a good foundation if you're learning IaC for data engineering or need a quick reference for the Terraform workflow. The state management commands and multi-environment patterns are especially useful if you're moving beyond toy projects.
