Managing Amazon Msk

If you're running MSK Provisioned clusters, this skill keeps you from conflating Standard and Express brokers, which emit different metrics and follow entirely different patching models. It walks you through performance troubleshooting (CPU, latency, traffic shaping), consumer lag diagnosis, storage management, and choosing between broker types. The critical warnings section alone is worth the load: it'll stop you from rebooting brokers during under-replication or blaming the cluster when linger.ms=0 is torching your CPU. Includes a Python sizing script that must be run for any capacity planning question. Does not cover MSK Serverless, Connect, or Replicator.
