Paper Audit

bahayonghang/academic-writing-skills
2.7k installs409 stars
Summary

This is a reviewer simulator for academic papers that gives you the kind of structured, blunt feedback you'd get from peer review before you actually submit. It works across LaTeX, Typst, and PDF, supports both English and Chinese, and runs a 16-category issue taxonomy covering everything from formula errors to overclaims to paragraph-level argument incoherence. The deep-review mode dispatches five committee agents (editor, theory, literature, methodology, logic) and separates script-backed findings from LLM judgment calls so you know what's deterministic versus interpretive. Version 4.5 added a mechanical presubmission layer that checks for AI-tone signals, citation hygiene, and abstract completeness. Use it when you want a gate check or revision roadmap, not when you need direct source editing or polishing.

markdown

assistant-ui/skills

Render and customize assistant message text as markdown in assistant-ui. Use when displaying model output as formatted markdown with MarkdownTextPrimitive from @assistant-ui/react-markdown wired into the MessagePrimitive.Parts text branch, configuring remarkPlugins (remark-gfm, remark-math) and rehypePlugins (rehype-katex), or memoizing components with unstable_memoizeMarkdownComponents. Covers code-block syntax highlighting via react-shiki or react-syntax-highlighter registered as SyntaxHighlighter in components/componentsByLanguage, LaTeX math rendering with KaTeX, Mermaid diagrams gated on stream completion, custom math delimiters via preprocess, and the StreamdownTextPrimitive alternative from @assistant-ui/react-streamdown with built-in Shiki/KaTeX/Mermaid and block streaming. For general chat UI composition route to primitives.

ui-test

browserbase/skills

AI-powered adversarial UI testing via the browse CLI. Analyzes git diffs to test only what changed, or explores the full app to find bugs. Tests functional correctness, accessibility, responsive layout, and UX heuristics. Use when the user asks to test UI changes, QA a pull request, audit accessibility, or run exploratory testing. Supports local browser (localhost) and remote Browserbase (deployed sites).

k6

grafana/skills

Generate, validate, and review k6 test scripts — load, stress, spike, soak, smoke, breakpoint, functional, and protocol. Covers HTTP, WebSocket, gRPC, browser, all executors, thresholds, checks, custom metrics, the k6-testing library, k6 Cloud execution, and the xk6 extension ecosystem; uses the xk6-docs CLI (with grafana.com web fallback) for docs lookup and validates every script by running it. Use when writing, generating, validating, or debugging any k6 or load-test script (including plain-language asks like "load test this API" or "stress test my service"), choosing executors/scenarios, or setting thresholds. For end-to-end website performance suites use k6-perf-test-website; for documenting k6 itself use k6-docs.

loopy

forward-future/loopy

Discover, find, compare, audit, repair, adapt, craft, run, debrief, save, and prepare repeatable AI-agent loops for publication. Use when a user asks to analyze code or coding threads for recurring work, find a published loop, interview them to turn a goal into a bounded loop, review a loop for weak checks or unsafe authority, execute a loop with an evidence receipt, learn from completed runs, save or reuse a project loop, or validate and submit a loop to Loop Library.

skill-scanner

getsentry/skills

Scan agent skills for security issues. Use when asked to "scan a skill", "audit a skill", "review skill security", "check skill for injection", "validate SKILL.md", or assess whether an agent skill is safe to install. Checks for prompt injection, malicious scripts, excessive permissions, secret exposure, and supply chain risks.

vibe-security

raroque/vibe-security-skill

Audits codebases for common security vulnerabilities that AI coding assistants introduce in "vibe-coded" applications. Checks for exposed API keys, broken access control (Supabase RLS, Firebase rules), missing auth validation, client-side trust issues, insecure payment flows, and more. Use this skill whenever the user asks about security, wants a code review, mentions "vibe coding", or when you're writing or reviewing code that handles authentication, payments, database access, API keys, secrets, or user data — even if they don't explicitly mention security. Also trigger when the user says things like "is this safe?", "check my code", "audit this", "review for vulnerabilities", or "can someone hack this?".
