Xlsx

When you need Claude to read, write, or modify actual spreadsheet files rather than just talk about data. This triggers for opening existing xlsx/csv files, creating new ones, cleaning messy tabular data, or converting between formats. The deliverable has to be a spreadsheet file itself. It comes with openpyxl and pandas workflows, automatic formula recalculation via LibreOffice, and surprisingly detailed financial modeling conventions (blue for inputs, black for formulas, that whole thing). The rules are opinionated about using Excel formulas instead of hardcoding Python calculations, which makes sense if you want spreadsheets that actually update. Good for when the artifact needs to be an Excel file someone can open and use, not just analysis output.
