Research Ideation

A structured approach to generating research questions in economics that walks you through ideation frameworks like "The Puzzle Approach" and "The Data Approach." You feed it a phenomenon, policy gap, or dataset you're curious about, and it helps you brainstorm testable hypotheses with feasibility assessments built in. The example interaction shows it generating four concrete research ideas from LinkedIn data, complete with identification strategies and an evaluation matrix. Most useful at the very beginning of a project when you're staring at interesting data or observations but haven't crystallized a research question yet. The frameworks are economics-specific but the interrogation method translates to other fields.
