Connects Claude to the Discogs music database through three core tools: fetching master release data (the canonical version across all pressings), pulling artist profiles with identifiers, and retrieving label information including parent/sublabel relationships. Runs through Pipeworx's gateway infrastructure, which means you can either use it standalone or as part of their larger 250+ data source collection. The ask_pipeworx tool lets you query in plain English instead of calling specific endpoints. Useful when you're building music cataloging tools, researching discographies, or need structured data about releases and their relationships. All lookups hit the live Discogs API through their gateway.
