Summary
This connects Claude to Nutrient's commercial document processing API for serious PDF work. You can convert between formats (PDF, DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, HTML, images), OCR scanned documents in 100+ languages, redact PII with preset patterns for SSNs and credit cards, extract tables to Excel, add watermarks, and fill PDF forms. The skill documentation shows curl examples for each operation, all hitting the same build endpoint with different instruction payloads. It's overkill for simple conversions but makes sense when you need reliable OCR, pattern-based redaction, or form filling at scale. Requires a Nutrient API key and works through their cloud service.
