If you're debugging Alibaba Cloud ECS instances that won't connect, are running slow, or throwing disk full alerts, this walks you through a structured two-level diagnostic workflow. It checks cloud-side status first (instance health, security groups, network config, Cloud Monitor metrics), then optionally digs into the guest OS using Cloud Assistant for deeper troubleshooting. The routing is scenario-aware, so SSH timeouts follow a different path than high CPU issues. Requires RAM permissions for ECS, VPC, and CMS APIs, plus Aliyun CLI 3.3.3 or higher. The skill is pretty opinionated about workflow order and has extensive guardrails around credential handling, which makes sense for anything touching production infrastructure.
