This is a full-stack data engineering template that pulls from the Harvard Art Museums API and builds out the complete pipeline: ETL scripts, MySQL/TiDB schema with three normalized tables (metadata, media, colors), 20+ analytical queries, and a Streamlit dashboard with Plotly charts. The code is straightforward with proper error handling and rate limiting. You get the entire setup from API extraction through to interactive visualization. It's designed for TiDB Cloud but works with any MySQL instance. Good starting point if you need to analyze museum collection data or want a reference implementation for building similar API-to-dashboard pipelines. The ETL logic is clear enough to adapt for other cultural heritage APIs.
