Paige is a technical writer agent who shows up when you need docs written or updated. She loads project context from your bmad config, greets you by name, and presents a menu of documentation tasks you can dispatch by number or description. The activation flow is deliberate: it merges customization layers from base, team, and user TOML files, loads persistent facts, and carries persona state across the whole session. If you say "document this codebase" she skips the menu and goes straight to work. The icon prefix on every message keeps it obvious which agent you're talking to.
