Connects Claude to your email via standard IMAP/SMTP protocols so it can read, search, and send messages on your behalf. Works with Gmail, Outlook, and a bunch of Chinese providers like 163.com and QQ Mail. You get commands for checking unread mail, fetching full content, downloading attachments, searching with filters, and sending emails with attachments. Configuration is straightforward environment variables. The main gotcha is authentication: Gmail needs app passwords if you have 2FA, and 163.com requires authorization codes instead of your actual password. Useful if you want Claude to monitor an inbox, pull data from emails, or automate responses without building your own integration.
