This one stops you from doing what Claude normally does: answering research questions from memory or with one lazy web search. It enforces a proper research methodology with phases. Broad exploration first, then deep dives into each dimension you find, then diversity checks to make sure you have data, examples, expert opinions, and criticisms. The synthesis checklist at the end is useful: did you search from 3-5 angles, fetch full sources, get concrete examples. It's opinionated about temporal queries too, with specific rules about when to use day-level precision versus just the year. Load it before content generation tasks or any "what is X" question. The core insight is right: quality out requires quality research in.
