This is a STEP-first parametric CAD workflow built on build123d. You write natural language specs or point at reference images, it generates Python source that produces validated STEP files, runs geometric checks on selector references like #o1.2.f1, measures clearances and alignment, and hands off to CAD Viewer for live inspection. It treats assemblies as source-level joints with named mating datums, not just dumb part collections. The workflow enforces snapshot validation after every visible change and assumes mm units, XY base plane, positive Z up unless you say otherwise. If you need STL or 3MF those branch from the STEP artifact as secondary outputs. It won't do render art or FEA, but for brackets, enclosures, fixtures, and anything with counterbores or actual geometry constraints, it's built for that.
