This is the visualization half of the text-to-cad workflow. It spins up CAD Explorer to render STEP, STL, URDF, and a handful of other 3D formats after another skill generates or modifies them. The handoff contract is strict about port reuse and requires using dev:ensure instead of raw Vite commands to avoid leaving duplicate servers running. It returns viewer URLs for live review and can generate snapshots or GIFs for parameter animations. With 8.1K GitHub stars and 1.4K installs, it's clearly part of a larger CAD generation pipeline. You won't use this standalone, but if you're working with programmatic CAD output, it handles the "did that actually work" step without manual file juggling.
