If you need Claude to actually do things inside 3ds Max (or eventually other Autodesk apps), this is the bridge. Flue runs a local Python adapter that speaks MAXScript and returns JSON over stdin/stdout, so the agent can inspect scenes, query objects and modifiers, or run small scripts without you copy-pasting between the chat and the application. It's built for bounded edits and inspection, not large automated rewrites. The same install covers Photoshop, Blender, Houdini, Unity, and a bunch of Adobe and Office apps through matching adapters. Treat it like giving the agent a very long arm into desktop software that normally lives behind a GUI wall.
