Postmortem Writing

This walks you through writing blameless postmortems with templates, timelines, and the actual mechanics of running post-incident reviews. You get a standard postmortem template with sections for root cause analysis, 5 whys, action items with owners and due dates, and a table contrasting blame-focused versus blameless language. It includes a day-by-day timeline from incident to quarterly review and triggers for when to write one (SEV1/SEV2, customer-facing outages over 15 minutes, near-misses). The templates are detailed enough to fork and use immediately. Most useful if you're trying to build a learning culture and need structure around the "what happened, why it happened, what we're doing about it" process without pointing fingers.
