QStash is Upstash's serverless HTTP task queue for when you need reliable async calls, scheduled jobs, or webhook delivery without running infrastructure. Send messages to public HTTPS endpoints with built-in retries, schedule cron jobs that hit your APIs, or fan out events to multiple services. The signature verification is non-negotiable since your endpoints are public URLs, and the skill hammers this home hard with a critical sharp edge warning. Good fit for Next.js apps, Cloudflare Workers, or any serverless setup where you'd otherwise reach for a managed queue but everything already speaks HTTP. Delays are free, deduplication is included, and callbacks tell you when delivery succeeds or fails.
