Earnings Trade Analyzer

This is a momentum scanner that scores recent earnings gaps using five weighted factors: gap size, pre-earnings trend, volume patterns, and MA200/MA50 positioning. It pulls data from FMP's API, runs the math, and spits out letter grades (A through D) so you can quickly spot which post-earnings moves have institutional accumulation behind them. The free API tier works fine for scanning the last couple days, but you'll want paid if you're going deeper. The output includes both JSON and markdown reports with score breakdowns showing which factors are strong or weak. It's built for finding PEAD candidates without manually checking charts, though you'll still want to verify the A and B grades before taking positions.
