This walks you through setting up a WireGuard VPN server on Linux or pfSense for remote access to your home network. It covers server installation with proper iptables forwarding rules, client keypair generation, and the split tunnel versus full tunnel decision (whether you route just home traffic or everything through your connection). The Python helpers for automating peer configs are handy if you're onboarding multiple devices. It also addresses the DDNS piece since most homelabs don't have static IPs. The security advice is solid: file permissions on keys, scoped forwarding rules instead of blanket accepts, and keeping secrets out of version control.
