This is a well-architected routing system that matches your caching question to one of five focused sub-skills: figuring out if you need ElastiCache at all, provisioning and connecting a cluster, picking the right data structures for sessions or rate limiting, wiring up semantic caching or vector search for AI workloads, or diagnosing why your cache is slow or expensive. It reads and writes state to a shared requirements.json file so each sub-skill picks up where the last one left off. The genai module is opinionated: it forces Valkey 8.2+ when you need server-side vector similarity. If you've been copy-pasting ElastiCache examples without understanding the tradeoffs, this will walk you through the decision tree instead.
