It includes two pre-PRD techniques worth using: a problem framing canvas that maps user barriers before you start writing, and an Amazon-style working backwards press release. The structure pushes you to separate business benefit from customer benefit, define segments by problems rather than demographics, and mark features as P0/P1/P2. If your team argues about scope or ships features nobody asked for, this creates the alignment artifact you need before engineering starts.
