Drafting

This tackles the specific problem of having an outline but not getting the actual draft written. It's diagnostic, meaning it helps you figure out why you're stuck (can't start, can't continue, middle stall, can't finish, taking forever, or the story itself is broken) and gives concrete interventions for each state. The core philosophy is that drafting and editing are separate modes, and most blocks come from trying to do both at once. Includes practical stuff like daily word count targets, stopping mid-sentence to make restarts easier, and using placeholders when stuck. It's written for fiction but the diagnostic approach works for any long-form writing where you've got the plan but can't execute it.
