Competency Builder

This is a diagnostic framework for building training that actually produces capability instead of just content completion. It walks you through ten states from "no framework" to "framework operational," identifying symptoms like vague competencies (understands X vs. can do X), scenarios that are too clean, or missing feedback loops. The real value is in the specific tests and interventions at each state. If you're dealing with training where people complete courses but still can't perform, or you're stuck trying to serve multiple audiences with one-size-fits-none content, this gives you a structured way to diagnose what's broken and what to fix next. It's opinionated about observability: if you can't watch someone demonstrate it, it's not a competency.
