First it does offline checks: finds keywords wasted in your subtitle, flags underused character limits, catches formatting errors like spaces after commas, and spots lazy copy-paste localization. Then it hits Astro MCP to extract competitor keywords and surface ranking gaps across multiple store territories. The cross-locale competitor analysis is the real value here, since keyword popularity varies wildly by market. You'll want references/aso_rules.md in your project for the full ruleset. Best used after asc metadata pull when you're prepping an update and need to squeeze more discoverability out of your 100-character keyword budget.
