Subtitle Refine

This does production-grade cleanup of Chinese ASR subtitles without turning them into polished prose. It fixes recognition errors, strips filler words like 嗯 and 啊, adds spacing between clauses, and splits entries over 14 characters while keeping everything synced to the original audio timestamps. The workflow is conservative: no rewriting for style, no summarizing, just subtitle-level fixes. It includes a validation script that checks length limits, timeline drift, and deletion allowlists. Best for documentaries, interviews, or screencasts where you need to correct ASR output but preserve the speaker's natural phrasing. The instructions are unusually thorough about not introducing timeline drift when splitting entries, which is where most automated cleanup tools fail.
