It walks through discovery questions to uncover hidden metrics in any role, then shows you how to estimate conservatively when you don't have exact data. The framework covers six metric categories (money, time, percentages, volume, quality, frequency) and includes role-specific examples for sales, engineering, customer service, and more. What I like is the practical estimation techniques: it teaches you to use ranges, minimums with plus signs, and time-based calculations rather than making up precise numbers you can't defend. The before/after templates are solid, and the "I have no numbers" section addresses real objections like being entry-level or working with confidential data.
