This gives Claude programmatic control over video ingestion, search, editing, and live monitoring through the VideoDB API. You can upload from files, URLs, or YouTube, then search inside videos semantically or by transcript to get exact timestamps and auto-generated clips. The timeline editor handles subtitles, overlays, dubbing, and composition without manual editing software. The desktop capture mode is surprisingly practical: it records your screen and audio, builds a searchable index of what happened, and can trigger real-time alerts on spoken keywords or visual events. Best for automating video workflows that would otherwise need multiple tools and manual coordination.
