This is a deprecated compatibility shim that forwards to bmad-prd with update intent. It exists so old invocations and custom override files keep working while the team migrates. When activated, it resolves any legacy customization from bmad-edit-prd.toml, shows a deprecation notice in your configured language, then hands off to bmad-prd with the resolved settings for the four legacy fields (activation steps, persistent facts, on_complete). Everything else uses bmad-prd's defaults. If you're still using this, the migration is straightforward: rename your custom file to bmad-prd.toml and call bmad-prd directly next time. You'll get access to the newer customization surface like prd_template, validation_checklist, and output controls.
