Connects Claude and other MCP clients to your Simplenote account with read access by default and optional write tools (create, update, trash, restore). On macOS it can read directly from the Simplenote desktop app's local Core Data store with zero auth, fully offline. On Linux, Windows, or macOS without the app, it authenticates once via magic link and talks to the Simperium HTTP API. Setup asks whether to enable write mode, which gates the mutation tools behind explicit opt-in. Useful when you keep research notes, drafts, or reference material in Simplenote and want Claude to search or update them without switching apps.
