AiDex gives your AI assistant a persistent index across sessions. Instead of grepping and dumping entire files into context, you get 33 tools for identifier search, file signatures, semantic search over code and docs, and cross-project queries. The semantic layer runs local embeddings with optional LLM reranking. Beyond search, it handles task backlogs with scheduling, session notes that survive chat resets, HTTP log ingestion from any running app, and LLM-optimized screenshots. The interactive Viewer shows file trees, logs, and search results in real time.
