Measuring Product Market Fit

refoundai/lenny-skills

This is a PMF diagnostic tool built from insights by 46 product leaders like Sean Ellis, Uri Levine, and Casey Winters. Use it when you're trying to figure out if you actually have product-market fit or just vanity metrics. It walks you through the Sean Ellis "disappointment" survey (40% saying "very disappointed" is the threshold), checks if your retention curves flatten instead of decay, and helps you distinguish between polite interest and real customer pull. The multi-stage framework is helpful: it breaks PMF into four levels from nascent to extreme rather than treating it as binary. Good reality check before you start spending on growth.
