Browser Tools MCP enables AI applications to monitor and interact with browser data through a Chrome extension integrated with Anthropic's Model Context Protocol, providing tools for screenshot capture, page analysis, performance auditing via Lighthouse, and automated debugging. The server consists of three components—a Chrome extension, an MCP server for IDE integration, and a Node.js middleware server—that work together to give AI agents real-time awareness of browser state and the ability to perform actions within the browser.
