This server connects Claude directly to your Salesforce orgs through SOQL queries and metadata operations. It uses Salesforce's TypeScript libraries to query accounts, contacts, opportunities, and other objects without shelling out to the CLI. The security model is tight: it reads encrypted auth files from your machine, supports org allowlisting, and never exposes tokens in plain text. You get toolsets for data queries, metadata deployment and retrieval, and org management. Reach for this when you want Claude to explore your Salesforce data, deploy changes, or analyze Apex code without manually running sf commands. It's built by the Salesforce DX team and ships pre-configured in their Agentforce for Developers VS Code extension.
