Install the PhoneMCP app, connect it to the server via SSE, and Claude or ChatGPT can send and receive texts using your actual phone number and carrier plan. The main use case is automating bulk messaging workflows like payment reminders, appointment scheduling, or lead follow-ups while keeping messages personal since they originate from your real number. Also handy for receiving OTPs during automated workflows. Requires an Android device, a paid AI subscription (ChatGPT Plus, Claude Pro, or Gemini), and signup at phone-mcp.com to access the SSE endpoint. iOS isn't supported yet.
