Connects to HopGraph's business verification API for Australian and New Zealand company lookups against government registers. Exposes five tools: verify_business does the full compliance check with cross-jurisdictional screening (ASIC, NZBN, banned persons, disqualified directors), search_business finds the right identifier, expand_person_network maps all NZ directorships for an individual, and get_verification retrieves past audit records by UID. Returns a three-tier risk assessment (CLEAR, ADVISORY, FLAGS_FOUND) that surfaces disqualifications and bans across entity chains. Requires a free API key from hopgraph.com. You'd reach for this when building compliance workflows, doing customer due diligence, or screening business relationships in ANZ markets where manual register checking is tedious.
