A focused collection of Japan-specific data endpoints wrapped in an MCP interface. You get weather lookups via Open-Meteo, a railway archive with 1,800+ defunct Hokkaido stations, Japanese food composition tables from MEXT, SPDX license data, and HTTP header registries. Most queries are free for human use. AI crawler access to premium endpoints triggers x402 micropayments on Base (USDC), with weather calls priced at $0.001 and archived railway PDFs at $0.01 each. The server runs on Cloudflare Workers and exposes structured JSON through streamable HTTP transport. Useful if you're building agents that need Japanese public datasets or want to experiment with pay-per-call API models without managing API keys.

Japanese public data as APIs that AI agents can call directly, from Kasanegi, an R&D studio.
Kasanegi has built and served a family of data APIs for AI agents since before the studio opened, through kasanegi.com, the RapidAPI marketplace and MCP. The family is being integrated into one platform. As one example from it, the ten APIs of JP Local Pack are open free of charge: payroll deductions, social insurance grades, withholding income tax (all 1,856 cells of the National Tax Agency monthly table), consumption tax, national holidays, corporate numbers, the qualified invoice issuer registry and Peppol invoice validation.

About this repository
This is the public companion of the private main repository. It first carried the earliest datasets and x402 work from which the current family grew: Japanese food composition, the SPDX license list, and a pay-per-call weather API settled in USDC on Base mainnet.
