Summary
Connects to your local Zotero database via zotero.sqlite and gives Claude read-only access to your bibliography. You get search across your library, PDF reading capabilities, and tools to find related papers without sending anything to external services. Everything runs locally through stdio transport. The quick install uses uvx to pull from PyPI, or you can clone the repo and run it with uv. Useful when you're doing literature reviews in Claude and want to reference your existing Zotero collection without manually copying papers or switching between apps. The developer also offers a Pro version with Connected Papers integration and cross-paper analysis tools.
