This is a payment and authorization layer for AI applications that wraps HTTP clients (Axios, Fetch, Node HTTP) and LangChain agents to handle 402 Payment Required flows automatically. It intercepts API calls, manages transaction creation through the Sapiom API, and handles pre-emptive authorization before expensive operations execute. You'd use this when building AI agents that need to charge for API access or control usage through payment gates. The TypeScript SDK is modular, so you install only the integration you need, whether that's middleware for LangChain v1.x agents or an interceptor for your existing Axios setup. It's in beta with active development on Mastra and LangGraph integrations coming next.
