This is a persistent memory layer for Claude Desktop that loads identity files at boot and lets Claude search a local vault or Obsidian notes mid-conversation. It solves the cold-start problem where every session begins blank. The framework injects SOUL.md, CORE_MEMORY.md, and other context files so Claude wakes up knowing who you are and what you've been working on, then exposes search operations to pull from your vault during the session. Built for non-coders running local AI assistants on OpenClaw. The architecture survived a full machine wipe and restored continuity from plain markdown files, which is the real pitch here: your AI's memory lives in files you control, not vendor infrastructure.
