TravelType

This connects Claude to TravelType's global POI database for searching and retrieving information about cities, countries, and points of interest worldwide. You'd reach for this when building travel planning agents, location-based assistants, or any workflow that needs structured geographic and tourism data without hardcoding destination lists or scraping travel sites. The server runs remotely at mcp.traveltype.app over streamable HTTP, so there's no local setup. Useful for prototyping itinerary tools, answering location questions with real data, or enriching travel recommendations with actual POI catalogs instead of relying solely on the model's training data.
