Built for AI agents making purchase decisions, it queries a deterministic scoring engine that pulls from SEC filings, Wikidata, domain age, SSL configs, and Google Web Risk checks. One call to verify_merchant gives you a 0-100 score, a badge tier (BRONZE to GOLD), and evidence across verification, security, governance, transparency, data quality, and fulfillment dimensions. The protocol is designed to answer "should I trust this seller" without chaining multiple requests. Includes a search tool for querying the merchant registry. Useful when your agent needs to evaluate ecommerce sites, SaaS vendors, or any merchant before completing a transaction.
