Summary
Connects to the Agent Almanac API to search through 9,000+ cataloged MCP servers without leaving your agent. Exposes three tools: full text search across server capabilities and descriptions, detailed lookups that return install commands and tool lists for specific servers, and a recency feed of what's been updated in the ecosystem. No authentication required. Useful when you're working inside Claude or another MCP client and need to discover what servers exist for a particular task, like finding Postgres tooling or CSV handlers, without context switching to a browser. Queries hit the public agentalmanac.org JSON API and return formatted results your agent can parse and act on.
