This repository has been deprecated and is no longer maintained. The project has moved to systemprompt.io's template and core libraries. Historically, this was a reference implementation demonstrating the complete MCP specification using Reddit's OAuth 2.1 API. It showed how to handle PKCE flows, JWT tokens, multi-user sessions, sampling for AI-assisted content generation, and real-time notifications. The codebase exposed tools for searching Reddit content, reading messages, browsing subreddits, and navigating comment threads. While the Reddit integration itself is archived, the OAuth patterns and MCP feature implementations were designed as templates for adapting to other APIs like GitHub or Slack.
